Na. It was a really funny joke because of what Tony Le Mesmer posted.

I had Fabregas top scorer e/w at 50/1, so was screaming at him to score the whole game.

I won £80 on the opening day of the Euros and fcuk all after that.

To save me wading through all 159 pages of this thread, would one of you kind people take me through the mechanics and tactics of the "Betfair challenge" (if I can call it that). You know, how to bet on it not being a 0-0 draw for umpteen successive matches. I've just opened a Betfair account primarily for this purpose but would like to know what I'm doing to avoid having to flog the family silver.

Thanks v muchly.

I'd probably look at the dedicated 0-0 Betfair challenge thread. Found here; viewtopic.php?f=9&t=74562

But really, you BACK them in the total goals market of 0.5, the odds are normally anything between 1.02 to 1.20, you could theoretically do it on City to never have a 0-0, but your odds would be lower, so I guess the fun is finding the games which have higher odds but are still going to produce a goal. If you go into the foreign markets I suggest you read up on the team.

I thought the odds of Swansea being relegated at 2-1 were too good not to take. They have lost their best two players and I just expect second season syndrome to set in.

I also put a few quid on Reading to finish top 10. Probably a loser but why not and good odds.

A forecast of Man Unt to finish top with Man City second is 9/2 which I also think looks a good bet. Really can only see it as a two horse race so just a case of who is top and who second.

I'm looking for a good place to put some money on an RFC top 10 finish. What odds did you get? I've seen it at 9/1 but it doesn't seem too generous.

Think I'll hold on to my cash. Was going to put a hundred on it but thought it'd be longer odds.

Stoke at 7/1 to go down I think is a very good bet. Sliding towards the back end of last season and with no notable additions I really think they'll struggle.

As for tomorrow, I've gone for Arsenal, QPR, Birmingham, Sheffield Utd, Swindon and Rotherham all to win.

I wondered about that too. They were dire at the end of last season and if we beat them tomorrow it might be the start of a long hard season for them. Probably worth a tenner.
