All joking aside. The Sig doesn't appear to have come out of this greatly. Did he go to Spurs for the opportunity or did he follow the alleged money?? Now if Van der Vaart does not move on will he find himself warming a bench?

And then there's the issue of Brendan. What does this say about Brendan's plans for lIverpool if he cannot attract someone who allegedly loved playing for him?

Could be an interesting few months for the football neutral as the transfers begin to happen.
