AVB didn't play with a proper attacking midfielder at either Porto or Chelsea though and continually played Mata wide when everyone thought he should be in the middle.

I actually think Podolski will be the one to take his place pretty well, the German league is tough and so he should find his feet in the Premiership a lot easier than the French matey they've just signed, who i personally think is just gonna go the same way as Gervinho and Chamakh (ie good in France shit in England)
