M-U-R-T-Y Park to QPR, now there's a coup. Always rated him, big match player.

Shame QPR don't get to play in any big matches.

We're in two of your cup finals

Tredder Premiership quality and worldwide marketing, all for 2m.
We'll get that in shirt sales.

According to Cardiff only if you change your fake hoops to red. Initial 2 million rising to 5 for an injury prone 31 year old on 60k a week? Granted he will play more games than Barton.

Scottish FA refusing to give International clearance to the ex Rangers players; this whole episode has really shown where the power lies in Scottish football.

Surely that then opens the SFA and Rangers to receiving counter claims from the player's new clubs..... looks like this sorry saga is going to run on another front now.

UEFA and FIFA will get involved sooner rather than later; this is bringing international football into total disrepute.

Class player. Why didn't he sign him at Reading?

Probably because he was only 18 and presumably Chelsea would've wanted to keep him for a few more seasons to see how he progressed?

Didn't Roma only just buy him out of his Parma contract? Why do that just to sell him to Liverpool?

Maybe Roma had that option to buy him out of the co-ownership with Parma for a set price which means the £10m that Liverpool pay with go straight to them instead of being split. Parma got around £3.5m from the buy out.

Apparently a close friend of Carroll has said there is no chance Carroll will be leaving Liverpool. That said, Rodgers doesn't seem to warm on him.
