I bow to your greater knowledge and input to society. You're a real credit to your community.
What is it that you do again?

I'm a nematologist.

Wow, where would the world be without you? Lets's take a chance on it, I feel lucky.

My thanks to Watfordroyal for allowing EP to help him look like a total helmet. That was genuinely funny.

Happily WR is too stupid to realise how stupid he actually is, so there's plenty of mileage left in this yet.

watfordroyal Anyone else find this a big waste of our taxes?
How much is this court case costing with all the policing etc. £100K+? for what? a max £2.5k fine

And what was unfactual about what ferdinand was called,
F - I take it he's not a virgin,
B - He would call himself black,
C - Without checking his genital status, this is possibly untrue, but it maybe he resembles one to some opinions!

Should never have gone to court!

As I stated in a previous post, I believe Terry chose trial by jury as is his right to do so. That's why it is at court

If he did then it'll be declared a mis-trial - there's no jury - it's a magistrates court.

After hearing the trial yesterday I can only come to the conclusion that JT will get off. It's basically his word against Anton's with no major evidence to back it up.

So how should this have been dealt with?

Presumably, a conviction without a trial? I don't think that would be fair on the accused to be honest.....

Or that, because the individual in question is a celebrity, then there should have been no trial whatsoever? In other words, some people can do what they like, when they like, because of who they are......

Any other laws you think everyone should be able to break without any recourse to punitive action against them?

Or can you not see that you are digging a hole so deep for yourself that you are making yourself look like a total cock?

I actually agree with you, but not for the reasons you give; after Harry Redknapp's acquittal, I can imagine that ANY celeb will get the benefit of the doubt in trials like this (as did Steven Gerrard in the assault case a couple of Years ago, where there is video evidence of him lumping someone, the other defendents all pleaded guilty, and yet he got found not guilty).

I think he might have got off if he hadn't insisted on a preposterous and ever changing defence, plus Cashley's comments can't of helped

If he is not guilty I hope the judge takes the opportunity to tell Terry that he is still a massive bellend

Ideal
Indications are pretty strong that he is what is commonly referred to as a faggot, buttburglar, a turk, arsepirate, queer, and what's worse is his continual posting of faggotry on this board.

And we have a winner for this years speaker at the Diversity and Tolerance Festival, Manchester 2012. Such refreshing words a contrast against the usual bigotry symptomatic of repressed feelings and/or child abuse sadly present amongst the older fraternity.

These character witnesses stating that "JT is not a racist"

Irrelevant. Accepted by prosecution already that he isn't a racist . The case is that he said something racist.

Its all a pile of crap.

I once used the word "paki" when talking about a local shop to a police officer......didn't require a court case, just got a "don't use that word" type telling off
