Does this count as one of the two or three signings McDermott was talking about?

Even Sweeney wouldn't wear the new home shirt in his pictures.

Good luck to the lad, assuming not one to challenge Pearce and Gorkss at this stage yet though.

No, he's in the Development squad so I wouldn't expect to see anything of him in the 1st team this season.

Would have to go behind people like Morrison and Hector in the pecking order shirley?

Is the reserve league changing format to become mainly U21 this season or is that the season after?

TFF If we had any decent mods this thread would have been merged by now.
If we had decent posters we wouldn't need mods.

FWIW, in the context of the heated debate on the rumours board, I was in the hotel on Friday afternoon on a conference, and the lad was in with his parents in the bar with Nick Hammond having sealed the deal, so some of the "ITK" posts about conversations and deals being done in public aren't by definition ridiculous.

Looked a solid unit, not that tall, but barrel chested. Wouldn't have had him down as a centre half, but would certainly rush to buy him another Guinness if I spilled his first one (once he's 18 obviously). I'm very happy to see him sign and wish him luck at our League of Island finishing school. Would be disappointed if the new money meant we didn't keep taking a few punts like this.

Could have been wrong, but bloke who looked a bit like Hayden Mullins also there in RFC top. My eyes aren't what they were...

I doubt it as he signed academy forms. I am sure BmD was referring to 2 or 3 more for the first team squad.

Anyone can spot a player in the bar after the deal has been sealed. The BS that people speak is claiming they hear the deal being thrashed out in full public view and earshot before its sealed. Deals being done in public are more than ridiculous.

I saw Ryan Bertrand sat in deep discussions with Hammond in the hotel atrium (before he originally signed) and same thing was reported about Mccleary both prior to signing.......

Seen Danny Simpson recently? Call me putting two and two together..... He and Hayden have similar haircuts / build.
