Next week the world will still be turning,
John Terry will be found guilty of being a racist twat, he'll be fined a minutes wages, get a bit of a ban, still be Chelsea captain, cheered by their fans, booed by all others, still handsomely paid, with a good chance of picking up the community shield if he appeals.
The lawyers will be patting themselves on their backs and enjoying their bulging bank balances.
Meanwhile, nearby, another black kid will be stabbed because there is much less of a police presence on his estate and the youth programmes have been shelved, his chances of survival are reduced because the ambulance service has been centralised increasing response times. The local A&E has been closed down and moved to a hospital further away and in a corner of that hospital an old lady will die of de-hydration because there is a lack of staff to look after her properly.
But we can all bask in the glory of knowing justice was done and that we all live in a
"civilised society".
One thing, we'll be nearer to the start of the season and can get back to the vital debate on whether Jimmy Kebe is lazy or a genius, & Snowball can reassure us with his stats that we will not be relegated with a less points total than Derby.
Stupid Shit Shovellers like me can get back to reading the sports pages
& looking at the tits on page 3.
