I guess if you complete a test at home that is designed to be taken under exam conditions on a timed basis - when you can look up the answers and spend unlimited time on it - then getting 100% becomes a possibility. Based on that all exams should be sat at home without time limit and everyone can get top marks.Snowball

This bit I can believe.

"About the test
Full, Supervised Mensa IQ Test sessions take around two and a half hours and are administered under strictly controlled conditions . We then mark your IQ test papers and your results returned to you in confidence for a one off fee of £17.50. There is often an opportunity to stay afterwards to talk to the Test Administrator - the person who conducts the test - about Mensa, the society and membership activity. Although many people take the test simply because they are curious to know their own IQ score, anyone who registers an IQ score which places them in the top two per cent of the population is invited to join Mensa."
