Can't see a problem with this, hopefully a chance to get some game time and see if he develops further. Chances are this could be Harte's last season so could be a LB vacancy next season in the First Team squad.

Glad it's a loan. Could be a good player in a few years.

Hope so - we could afford to do this as he has two years left. If he does well bring him back and if not loan/sell next summer.

It might yet turn out to be a good player.

Ditto, especially if Harte decides to call it a day after this season.

Agreed - and I'm sure Brian would prefer to do a similar thing with Antonio too, but that isn't looking likely. Mills is only 22 and seemed a pretty solid prospect whenever he stepped in, compared to Harte at 34 and 31-year-old Shorey. One of the main points of the investment has been, and will be, keeping hold of the assets which we otherwise would have sold.

Agreed - the longer the Antonio saga goes on - the more I wonder if we are trying to get him to commit here so we can send him out on a season long loan. Think we will regret selling him but 700K now is better than a tribunal next summer. Hope he signs an extension myself.

it wouldnt be good if we sold mills...this is the exact reason for the tsi takeover, that we DIDNT have to sell our players so we could further develop them. harte is 34 and shorey is 31 were going to need j. mills in a couple of seasons. a season long loan to a championship side will do him a lot of good! same goes for church, he could come good soon.

Good move and good luck to him.
