Looks great, I can see why people with smaller monitors might think it is bad though.

Main page loads for me now but seems unable to load all the stuff featured and I'm just left with a few white boxes and that irritating buffering symbol.

Maybe it's my browser?

Did they not think to user test the site before launching it?! The pictures used for the main news stories are all covered by the menu bar at the top of the page, every player has a massive bar across their face.

The new site is a layout being used by other clubs. Just saw sheffield Wednesday site and it's the same

It's awful, killed my mobile phone data usage, couldn't find what I wanted, don't understand why they think it's better than previous version

Horrible, horrible website. Change for changes sake generally isn't good. Much like when they changed a perfectly good BBC Sport website and made it terrible.

All clubs who are signed up to Perform Media Services (Reading Player etc) will be rolling out the same site soon. It's not surprising that it looks so shit, given that it's from the same company who's Player service doesn't work half the time, and even when it does it doesn't work on mobile (and a few desktop browsers).

Not sure why the club are still contracting these fools to maintain the website, they could probably hire 2-3 full time web designers and just develop something in-house for a 1/4th of the cost and actually offer a decent service for free (£50 a year to listen to some post-match interviews? no thanks. Paid £50 but want to watch the same content on your mobile? That's another £1.50 a month).

It's no skin off my dick - I can just go to another website to read Reading FC news. It's the club's image that's damaged more than anything.

Jesus, just seen it for the first time. Admitted I have only spent a few minutes looking but it looks like a 12year old lad has designed it.

Not a big fan of this. Shocking.

We are Premier League for gods sake this looks Amateur!

It finally works on Chrome, and I wasn't expecting it to be half as bad as some were saying, but that is dreadful. It's messy, patchy, unprofessional looking, and not at all easy to navigate. Things like that make me feel anxious, as strange as that may sound, so I'll just avoid using the official site now.

I take it Readingfcdirect stays as is. In which case I don't need the OS anyway.

Words fail me for how bad that is. I'll stick to receiving updates on Twitter only.

Hideous. Looks likes it's trying to replicate Facebook timeline (which is bad enough) and results in a mess of all sorts of things all over the place. Not anti-change but this isn't an improvement.

Tried to use it today at the Basingstoke game and it just wouldn't load. Even when it did it basically crashed my iphone... tried the ipad and the same happened.

Not a lot the club can do about it but whoever runs it needs to give it some serious work :|
