chilipepper91 Alanzinho could be my favourite Brazilian football name ever.

Ideal
Madstad to Nadderud Alanzinho from Trabzonspor...now that would be one heck of a signing!!!

The brazilian S.Hunt. Quite good, and left footed.

  Now you really are talking nonsense. If you had watched Alanzihno every week then I think he is just a tad better than Mr Hunt. Oh, and I rated Hunt as well. And just in case you didn't read the last post I HATE Rosenborg. If I was a glory hunter, then why would I support the poor man's version of RFC in Norway?! Hardly a big club are they?!

Ideal Good :D everyone should hate Rosenborg!

I tillegg skal jeg inkludere Brann, Molde (men ikke så verst nå pga Ole S'), Vålerenga, og LSK.

Bra at vi er enige om det! RFC should still sign both Tchoyi and Alanzihno if possible as they could cause a few surprises and upsets due to not being very well known as Tchoyi didn't exactly play every week for WBA.

A few really good signings in crucial places and we can "get away" with not having to bring in quite so much across the board. Plus players will step up. But we do look like we're light in quality all over the pitch on paper. Even in the wings, a strength of ours, we don't look particularly brilliant.

TheSiege Considering other transfer seasons, we have all (I guess) been impressed by the guys who have come in. Sometimes our transfer policy, in the past, was to let people go! However, the coming season is even more important than our first season in the Prem. because, should we not get relegated the TV money will rise drastically and the parachute payments will start to spread over 4 years. At the moment, we are virtually EVENS to be relegated by those people (supposedly) in the know and all of them continue to attach the RFC name to bizarre possible transfers such as Joey Barton! I believe that we have money still in the kitty and also one or two places in our 25-man squad and as many U21's as we can afford. Who are these people! I would love Defoe, Kongdogbia seems to be a sound acquisition but other people may have other ideas. I would like to know who you guys think might REALLY make a difference?

Really - that was all that needed to be said, and then it could more easily have been bumped to the countless threads we've had about this since about April time

We should 100% go for the young lad Henricksen that currently plays for Rosenberg. Young 19 years old and wouldn't take a place in our 25 man squad.

Read lots of reports linking him with Celtic which makes me sort of think we could realistically buy him as the SPL is going to be a farce next year. He is one player that will certainly triple in value provided he got enough game time. Hear he is a bit of a specialist in the long shooting department too which is something that we will need next year possibly against the big teams where we will be limited to chances.

he hit a sweet shot IIRC against England in one of the friendlies. Stung Hart's hands.

I always thought bigger clubs were after him than celtic. Would be a good player to bring in for the future in any case!

TheSiege God, I hate the way that different questions with different timeframes are all suddenly integrated together on this site. This thread was started on 18th Feb 2012, before we had even been promoted. We are now in a situation where most of the 2012/13 squad is in place but we might have another couple of spaces which need to be filled by absolute quality players - although within our budget! There ought to be a separate thread for this but, you get the impression that some of the older contributers, hate losing their own threads and ask the co-ordinator to attach current threads to theirs - which have been ignored by everyone for quite some time! Presumably, if I had started a thread called RFC a few years ago, I could get every other thread subsumed into mine and the site would have one topic. How sad!

Like I have previously told you, Siege, maybe Royal Rondevouz would be more to your liking!1! They are organised and fairly no-nonsense, unlike the often times fabulously nonsensical HobNob. Enjoy!!!1!ONE!!

Ha, maybe if you hadn't scanned my post you'd have seen that there is actual advice. I think I speak for everyone that it'd be best for all parties involved if you went to Royal Rondevouz, honestly. You'd prefer it.

So enough of the childish insults, mate. Somewhat hypocritical, don't you think?

And i made this account in January you numpty.

well you've been here for 11 days, and the mods have been running this for a good few years. The fact is, your question was identical to those that have been asked for months, and it goes inside the same thread, so instead of cluttering up and filling this site full of extra sh*t its much easier to shove it in one place. Don't like it? No need to stay. Im sure we won't miss you after these 11 days

Royalz96 When did the name change?

There was a thread that nobody was accessing - because it had lost immediacy. However, other people were adding threads which were current but similar (If you do not read what they are saying and have a broad definition of similar!) A co-ordinator has thrown together a lot of these threads under the original, seemingly outdated title. There is nothing intrinsically wrong with this being done - otherwise the site would end up all over the place but, given the reply to what I said a couple of posts ago, one wonders whether this particular co-ordinator is being fair to the newer contributors.

You're giving newer contributors a bad name.

In reality the only way we are going to add more players is if:

1. We are playing shockingly bad in the opening few games.

2. If someone really special with a great deal of quality is available at a good price e.g. RVV transfer to Spurs a couple of years back for £8 million

I imagine this would be for one of the more attacking areas of the team if something was to materialise.
