Isaac Hunt First impressions aren't great, but it'll settle itself down. There are always a few problems with new launches.
It does have the feel of being a bit of a rush job though. Having been involved in a number of web builds / launches it strikes me as being a bit of a work in progress. If you have a good roam around the site there are loads of things that have been enter just as temporary measures. Galleries etc. The player profiles aren't up to date - despite the squad numbers being in place for the new season. Pretty basic stuff.

Hoop Blah TBM, I think you're problem might be that you can't see the cookie information that you have to accept to get past that 'white screen' cover you're seeing.

Yeah i thought that but it just doesn't display
In this day an' age they should at least have a mobile friendly site.......something similar to the BBC would be handy

robinsfriday Visually it looks great upon first viewing, especially with the large background image. However it's all downhill after the initial reaction. The UI is shocking. Did the designers and developers do any user testing at all? Navigating around the site is shockingly poor. The layout resembles a half finished jigsaw puzzle that a five year old has trashed. What's really disappointing is that the majority of users these days will access the website via their mobile and there is no mobile version of the site. If you're going to launch a new website these days then a mobile version/or at least a mobile compatible site is essential.
As for the coding behind the scenes... well, they're clearly not thinking long term.
And seriously, it's fine to have the cookies notice (by law) when you go to the site but for Gods sake, remember that this was accepted by the user next time they visit the site. Why make the user wait for that notice to load and appear each and every time? Nuts.
So in conclusion, it's sh!t.

Clearest sign they aren't thinking long term is that Player isn't going HTML5.

TBM, if you click on the "ENTER READING FC" button on the part of the screen which is in bold, it will take you to the site. It is very small and took me ages to spot.
It took around three minutes just to load on my phone though, and once in it is not user friendly on a mobile. I hope they sort out a moble version soon because it used to be dead useful for checking the news.

Stuboo TBM, It's hard to say from just a screen shot, as the website is bigger than the screen and you miss bits. But if you have scrolled down and checked and can't find it, it must be different on your phone.
