STAR need to do a bit of both really. They have to ride a knife edge of not pissing off the club because they'll then just get ignored and not seeming to be utterly ineffective to fans.

That means sometimes they have to backdown quietly, sometimes they have to back the club whilst trying to change its position and sometimes they have to claim victories or say when the club is wrong. It's a balancing act and unfortunately STAR falls down on showing the fans its successes with the club and is too prominent in defending it.

melonhead honestly, who cares

Second +1 to a Brendy post today. See what happens when you give up smoking the hemp, Brenders?

Who cares indeed - STAR do an awesome job organising the travel. So they don't visibly 'stand up' to RFC about those all important issues such as hoops all around the shirt? Tbh - believe it or not, given my output on this site 8) - we as supporters have precious little to moan about. Successful team on the pitch, good facilities (not a fan of the stewarding and Mr Doyle's 'safety' regime, mind), decent and well-meaning ownership (at least until now). What serious campaigning needs to be done exactly?

If it all goes to sh*t with TSI, rest assured the most vocal and capable will rally round and certainly lead some sort of representative fans response anyway; there were well-organised and visble protests way back in '83 when Maxwell tried to do the dirty on us were there not? And they didn't ahve the internetz way back in them days either, however did they manage it
