Wow, I applaud the effort by the JJs to produce a Reading FC anthem, however, that track is the funniest thing I have heard in ages, and I don't think their intention was to make us laugh. The Girdler is the best of those for me, but the drum and bass track is also a noble effort.

Thank you for linking to the ‘WE ARE ROYALS’ song, I honestly haven’t laughed as much in years. 10/10 for effort but I must admit it is a bit hilarious.

The other one is also really good & credible, but I prefer Kevin Girdler’s Royals Anthem. I can remember hearing it so many times; ever since I first started following the club back in 2000 & it always brings a smile to my face.

It's Girdler for me. It takes me back to the South Bank straight away and most notably the 94/95 season, and the sheer heat under the old tin roof.

The guy who co-wrote the last one, Mike Rowbottom, I actually know quite well. I advised him with regards ro everything which was wrong with that song, but he didn't listen. Not that it could've been saved. It was doomed the moment the idea was implanted into his head. I mean they didn't even get our most famous monotonous song right! A travesty. I'm a little embarrassed to be associated with the spawning of this monstrosity, but knew it would be only a matter of time before it made its way onto hobnob.
