No way - while It wasn't a "horror tackle" at all, it was, however the generic and snidey "midfielder takes one for the team by bringing down the speedy opposition player 40 yards out when he has gone past him" type of effort we'll see in every game this season.

Fair enough, I saw it more as Bale beating Adam for pace (which isn't difficult) and Adam just sticking out a leg in a vain and rubbish attempt at the ball.

I did read something about Walkers comments, something along the lines of players should appreciate playing against Bale, learn by it and not tackle or take him down.

I wait to see what Walker does the first time he comes up against a left winger looking to take him on next season. I bet he doesn't wave him through and look on in awe as they pick out a team mate in the box.
