TheSiege If you look at RFC over the last 12 months, which of course includes the Championship, we have been linked with a lot of strikers - sometimes with some foundation. Many of those strikers have played in Div 1 and none of them have scored anything like the goals that Jordan Rhodes has. Where is the problem? If you are looking for potentially lethal strikers (that we can actually afford at the moment), Rhodes is head and shoulders above the rest. A lot has been said about what would happen if he cannot take the step-up - what if he can? You may have forgotten that Long took a bit of time to blossom into the player that he became in his last season at RFC. Rhodes has never needed the time to blossom, he has scored hatfuls of goals at every level he has been at since childhood. Michael Owen did the same. Funny that!

It's funny, becuase Rhodes, Zaha and CarroLOLLOL are not on free's either, and Long would be cheaper than Rhodes, cheaper than Zaha, cheaper than Carroll, and cheaper than any other completely unrealistic 'target' you've come up with. Plus, Long is proven in our style of football, and proven at PL level...

I had a dream he signed for West Ham last night. It was very upsetting.

Though I was playing football with some Africans dressed as the Beatles in a primary school friends back garden when I heard the news so it may well not come true.

He can't be 1TeaminBerks as he could barely write in English. I hate The Siege too but to be fair to him he is quite good at writing.

If you can't stand the heat, don't come into the kitchen! Funny isn't it, I respond a lot on this forum and hope that I am speaking sense. Almost every non-contributor throws sh*t at me, but they never put their heads above the parapet to say what they believe. Don't worry troops, I'll hammer the lot of them with unfair things like truth, reality and knowledge!

aLOL. You're "getting shit" thrown at you because you come across as an idiot, who's just posting shit on random threads to get their name as the last poster across the whole forum.

Do you take printscreens, print them out and present yourself with a certificate every evening? It's just tedious m8. I mean this is taking forum cleansing to the next level

Following an asphyxi-wank near-miss, this embarrassing tosser is just looking for a new way to pass his miserable time.

A more articulate version of Dodger?

Excessive use of exclamation marks = poor writing!

To be honest a kitchen is usually part of a private environment, either at your own home or in a restaurant. What you are basically doing is smearing sh*t over the walls of a canteen and wandering why the clientele object to you doing it.

Many centuries ago, a man ran from the Thermopolae pass in Greece, to inform the authorities of Sparta that 300 men, under one of their co-kings, were about to join battle with the whole Persian army. He spoke only truth and had been ordered to do what he did by has commander. Such was his achievement in doing this, that The Marathon was added to The Olympic Games to laud his achievement. Of course, he was called a coward at the time and was widely derided by the Spartans who had not put their lives on the line. I am TheSiege, I may sometimes bring bad news to people who wish to push their heads into the sand, I may sometimes suggest upgrades to our playing staff, that people disagree with, but, don't blame the messenger! I speak the truth as I see it! When people abuse me for this, I verbally hammer them! Simples!

Not to nitpick your attempt to be a great writer or anything, but there is a glut of superfluous commas in there.

Meawhile, this

TheSiege Thermopolae pass in Greece

It's Thermopylae. And I really don’t think people with the ability to ‘verbally hammer’ anyone would reduce themselves to quoting a playground catchphrase born from a fad advert.
