15-0

A low scoring start to the season as the players get used to each other but hey, 3 points is 3 points

I got bored, played it out on fifa. I'm really sad

Reading Football Club Vs Stoke City Football Club

Date: 15th August 2012

Competition: Barclays Premier League

Tony Pulis' men beat Reading 3-0. Reading's defence seemed slow and unable to tackle properly, Gunter was probably Reading's best defender. The midfield performed well on the whole but not many memorable moments. Leigertwood did make a good run couldn't execute the pass to le fondre. Guthrie had a decent game as did McCleary. McAnuff had a sound performance before being subbed off to allow the welsh wizzard Hal Robson Kanu, who did nothing special. The striking partnership started as Le fondre and Pogrebnyak. Le fondre looked good and energetic making some excellent runs. Pogrebnyak looked slow but had decent positioning, both players lacked good shots on goal. Noel Hunt was brought on later, but failed to make an impact. On the whole Reading seemed to lack urgency and creative flair.

Final score: Reading 0-3 Stoke

Fan report:
Reading fans outsung, all to be heard was come one city.ie

GAME MARRED BY CROWD TROUBLE:
Only one arrest made, believed to be a turkish man from earley. He claims to of accidently hitting a fellow fan in the face while sticking his arms out

Also just simmed it on fifa.

Final score: Reading - Stoke City

Harte saw an early free kick hit the post but there were few chances in the first 20mins.

However, Pogrebnyak steamrollered his was down the flank before cutting back onto his left and whipping the ball onto the head of Le Fondre, who nodded down past Sorenson. 1-0.

Stoke tried to respond but Crouch's overhead kick faile to make contact. Etherington then outpaced Hart and pulled it back for Delap, who hit the bar.

At half time the score was 1-0.

Guthrie put the ball in the net after nice link up play with Pogrebnyak but he was marginally offside.

Leigertwood then tried his luck but Sorenson pushed it past the post. He was then injured in a collision with Etherington and was replaced by Tabb.

Guthrie then made way for Karacan's return from injury.

Le Fondre had a shot blocked on 6mins which fell straight to Pogrebnyak...but he hit the outside of the post.

A superb McAnuff cross was met by the head of Pogrebnyak with 10mins left but he somehow put it wide.

In the final minutes Federici made a good stop from Walters before Reading broke and Karacan hit one from range just wide.

The full time whistle blew soon after.

MOTM: Le Fondre
Shots: 9-3
On Target: 2-2
Possession: 56%-44%
Fouls: 7-9
Pass Accuracy: 93% - 87%

tbh I'd take that!!

I think the 3-0 loss is more a reflection on my fifa skills rather than Reading. I was playing on proffesional

Really can't predict this one. But going to go for a narrow 1-0 home win.

2-1 UURRRRZZZZZ.

We take the lead before they equalize and we get the winner in the last ten minutes after sustained pressure.

Or maybe something different.
