Just interested to know, what are the options for parking around Stamford Bridge these days? Either within a mile of the ground or at a tube station somewhere in the region....

An option to consider is to park up at Hatton Cross or Osterley then tube it to Hammesmith and change for Earls Court.

Worked for me in the past.

What's the verdict on using Fulham Broadway tube after the game. I expect it's packed, but do they do crowd control/queuing like at West Ham and Arsenal? Is iit worth walking to Earls Court?

I am going straight from work and will be doing this very thing. Park at Hounslow West, IIRC its cheaper

I driving too. My Fulham S/T mate tells me just off the Fulham Palace Road is always free after 6. Only 15 min walk.

I've done both before and there's really not much in it. The queuing system for Fuham Broadway usually works quite well (it has in the past anyway), but if you're not one to put up with the crowds, particularly when it'll probably be a load of arrogant Chelsea fans gloating, then the walk to Earls Court isn't too bad and will probably only take 5 minutes longer. My recommendation would be to walk up Redcliffe Gardens (which I think become Earls Court Road) as there's always a chance that a bus will pass you which you'll be able to jump on - they all on that route go straight past Earls Court Station.

Tickets will NOT be on sale on the night at Stamford Bridge - so don't travel without a ticket! Best to pop down to the Mad Stad #readingfc

FFS, that's me OUT!! then.

Used to live round there. Always seemed better to approach from the other side. Park up in Putney and get the District line from Putney Bridge Station down towards Craven Cottage. Nice mix of pubs and bars down that way too, and you'll not see a Chelsea fan all night, it's Fulham territory.

Was in the upper tier last night that looked like it was sold out. Just looked a small section in the lower unsold. Anyone know how many we took there last night? Must have almost been a complete sell out.

Plenty of empty seats in both upper and lower tiers only difference being the upper tier were odd empty seats scattered and the lower there was a large section of seats together nearer the goal empty.
