Roberto Di Matteo's take on us:

"They don't concede many and are a threat on the counter-attack. I always found it hard to play against them."

On that basis, 3-0 Chelsea.

Reading will be lucky to have as many shots as Chelsea goals!

Depends on the form of the Chelsea strikers. Anything from 2-0 to 4-0.

Di Matteo describes Brian McDermott's newly promoted side as "difficult to play against", and says they will be full of "enthusiasm and spirit"

This is dangerous. Di Matteo gets it. Unlike most of the big clubs (City v Saints, West Sham v Villa) we're not the "little boys trying to play the big boy game". If Di Matteo manages to fire up the Chelsea players and get the best from them, then we're in big trouble.

1-1. Very hard fought draw as we go one up early on only to concede with ten minutes to go and defend with everything for the final seconds.

As much as i'd love this, we're going to get a raping at some point this season, and I think this may be it.

I have just realized something. A lot of people posting on here state at different times, how much they believe in Brian McD....and RFC, yet in reality most of us have missed the point. The McD really does have an idea of how to make this work. He really does believe that RFC can and will be a force in The English Premier League.

It's time we really started to believe.

Maybe Di Matteo believes more than we do.......and Chelsea really are at risk of losing this game.....

JT gets sent off for calling Leighterwood a 'coon' turns out it was actually a misunderstanding

Reading take full advantage of the extra man and win the game 1-0. Torres does his hamstring in the 73rd minute

It's this kind of article that makes me think a 2-0 loss would be a good result... Look at their options!

my old PE teacher used to give E for attainment if you werent in any of the school teams
so my mark was usually A for effort, E for attainment, and made me sound like a total div.
