We dodged a bullet tonight. Going behind twice. A lot of upsets in other games tonight.

Lewis, Rudd  , what is the point, no updates, wrong competition name, got more info from five live and they had to do all the games tonight, hope he doesn't get paid or get free tickets for that nonsense. Please someone write a little bit info about tonights game as I'm stuck abroad.

Badger Finger
Sebastian According to Dellor that's the first time we've got into the third round since 2008.

Probably the 1st time the clubs given a shit since 2008

I guess we at least have beaten a team who haven't won in the league this season with a full strength team.................achievement !!.

Can't help but feel like the WWII German Naval commander in 1945 we need new subs, but Madejski wants to put everything has to go on Tabb. (ahhhhhhhh the Reading way)

just got home, one up front at home against league 1 oppo, another feck up by Feds, McD taking off out our best player  oh and we won 3-2.
par for the course in this cup really, unconvincing in the early rounds. we will be fine when the stakes are higher.

On a completely different point but still on the League Cup, Antonio looks like he is doing very well indeed at Sheffield Wednesday. From The Guardian. I feel, and I know others feel similarly, that we may rue the day....

After that the Owls finished the half the stronger, with Michail Antonio's direct running causing a fright. His initial 36th-minute effort saw him dispossess Alex Kacaniklic and embark on a surge towards the area, culminating in a rasping drive that forced Mark Schwarzer into a low save to his right. After Schwarzer was relieved to see a free header from six yards from Madine fall safely into his grasp, Antonio had another opportunity in the 44th minute. Played in by Chris Maguire, his run into the area on this occasion saw him cut back on to his left foot to leave with him a clear sight of goal, only to flash his shot just over the crossbar.

'greed. I was watching McCleary tonight and I thought, I really miss that Antonio bloke who used to trip over his own feet and find me with his crosses more often than he did his team mates.

Feds stormed off at the whistle and with the morons calling for McCarthy after the Feds error then I am not surprised.

If you were one of them, then shame on you and pee off and follow Swindon!

Didn't think we looked too convincing at the back particularly in the centre of defence Gorkss needs to learn when to use his right foot instead of trying to clear wildly with the outside of his left. Worrying that we only just beat Peterborough should of beat them convincingly not taking anything away from them they were by far the better team the first 20 minutes. Thought Taylor was good for them but on the other hand I think our defence possibly made him look better than he is.

Nevertheless still got the result to go through and maybe the 3 week break has come at a good time for Fedders all keepers have a bad spell and this is his and I was disappointed at some of the fans comments after its 3 bad games he has had over his entire spell at Reading. We played some good stuff in patches of the game but we will need to up our game if we are going to stay up. I'm hopeful it was more a case of taking the foot of the gas playing an inferior opposition we will get punished in the Prem if we play like that at the back again however.
