Soon he will become a transfer target for a 'big team'.

Please can you tell us if this total fool, Siege, is a multi poster?

Two goals in two games? Cracking goal against Burnley.

6m still sounds like too much money to me, but then 4m for Ayew makes you think. But hey, if it was worth it why wouldn't McD go for it? Brian is on our side and wants good players for the right price just as much as we do. You have to assume if we aren't chasing Rhodes, he just isn't right.

I'd like us to buy him, but I'm not sure he's worth 6 mill yet.

Let's talk about anterolateral sulcus of the spinal cord instead, then. I like it because it is less visible than the posterolateral sulcus and I find shyness endearing.

Seal So now he has 2 in 2 games in the Championship do we stop referring to him as a "League 1 Striker"?

Jamie Cureton got about 6 in 6 with us. I think we should probably hold fire on any conclusion leaping until he's played at least 10 games.

Would have been better stopping at Huddersfield.

He agreed terms with us, but we couldn't nail a fee with their chairman.

I've got a feeling that Sean Morrison played a fair part in it. Huddersfield really rated him as a player but not as much as we did with our valuation.

Huddersfield Chairman : " you can have Rhodes for 3 million plus Morrison who's worth about 400k

Skippy : " if Matt Mills was worth 5 million then Morrisons worth at least 2 million"

Huddersfield Chairman " ok, no problem, you can now have Rhodes for 5 million, forget about Morrison"

Now that would be crazy money and if true I'm glad the club didn't meet that valuation

Jordan Rhodes for £8 million
Adam Le Fondre for £350k

The chicken industry must be on the up.

BBC reporting fee as £8M. I'm pleased we didn't match that offer. I'd be much happier with a striker who's proven in a top European league who would cost less. Rhodes might turn out to be a top striker but then he might not, I have a feeling that he won't.

Does anyone know if that's a record for a championship side?
