super darren caskey I think Brendan Rodgers needs him more than we do....If they can forgive him for playing for United

I agree. I wouldn't be suprised if that happens. Liverpool will get mocked massively of course, for such a deperate move, but If I was them, with limited funds, I'd do it. Worth a punt on a pay per play deal surely?

Im not the only one on here that thinks this as from the replys on the board everyone knows we need another striker

Well, I don't know that we need another striker. So that blows your theory that 'everyone' does.

ps. is your written English always this poor?

How long have we got left to wrap this up if we want him to play league games then?

It would have been exciting to have another striker, but we don't need one. Half the season will be played 4-5-1; why would we spunk 8m on someone to sit on the bench? Maybe 1-2m would have been worth it, but is anyone who costs that going to be better than Alf or Roberts or Hunt? Doubt it.

And f/ck it, we're scoring aren't we? What's the f/ckin worry!

'Greed. And besides we've already got a perennial (permanent) crock. He's called Jimmy Kebe. Don't need another.

Rodgers is apparently not interested, owing to his injury record, and Owen made a now deleted tweet telling Barton his destination would be revealed Wednesday. Looks like he is Stoke-bound.

Thank f/ck. Was dreading the idea of watching Owen contract Locked-In Syndrome while pulling on his Reading shirt.

Not late at all - he's a free agent so can be signed any time out of window.

The problem to be sorted now is that Stoke notified the PL of their squad before they signed him - so they need authorisation to change their 25.....

Approval gone through. Pay as you play deal, probably a good deal from Stoke's perspective.

Yup - have to say I would have quite liked us to have got him on that basis.

Fair enough, but what about someone replying to someone replying to him?

And technically I wasn't replying to him, I was replying about him.
