Unless they get a whole lot more candidates , no-one would need to for you to get onto the board.

But anyway, why not? I'm sure the membership would welcome someone who has clear ideas of what they want the organisation to do.

In any case, I assume the elections have already happened, in the summer - as that's the usual timetable for them. An IPS needs to do things properly and legal, so a show of hands amongst those who go along to an AGM died with the Supporters Club.

Plus an IPS Board is allowed to co-opt a certain number of members - if you have enthusiasm and ideas why would they not be interested in you?

what a shit attitude- youd rather try and make your own rival organisation so you can be guaranteed some of the power.
youll never know unless you try will you. the only way to change it is from within. go in, air your views, put yourself up for it and see how you and your views are recieved.

Probably a bit late to be putting yourself forward at the AGM. And as an exile, I feel fully able to moan as I'm not able to put up from a distance.

With no one left on the STAR board who is even willing to interact with this forum, why the fcuk should anyone here give a stuff?

As an organisation that should be doing it's level best to represent all Reading fans, it's doing a great job of alienating many regular posters here, myself included.

As an organisation that should be doing it's level best to represent all Reading fans, it's doing a great job of alienating many regular posters here, myself included.

I am sure a lot on here will not sympathise but it is the posts such as many on this thread that is the reason the rest of the STAR Board are not willing to post on here. There are not enough masochists on the Board to take on the constant abuse and negativity here.

There will be efforts to communicate elsewhere in the RFC universe but not here.
