I read the book - wasn't really convinced it was Kitson. But it's him. ftr Kitson always had excellent ball control.

The Antonio Valencia incident didn't convince you? Or the story of the manager going public with criticism, leading to the player responding through the media? It's Kitson.

It’s definitely Kitson. Although I was called an idiot when I said it once before on here, but I have it on good authority that Murty was a bit of pcunt and very very selfish, so that certainly fits too.

90% is Kitson, but the other bits and the ending? No.

I still think there's two writers, at least

Seal But then next page talks of winning back to back Player of the Year awards which I don't believe Kitson has done?

On the other hand, he won awards while at Cambridge - think he was in the PFA team of the year - and definitely won player of the season while at Reading.

But they're not quite back to back.

I've gone further than that - not only was he terrible on the radio but I just didn't like him full stop.

Crowd whore and idiot.

Some footballers/ex footballers on twitter claim they know who it is and is a low profile player . Judging from their tweets lower profile than a Kitson.

Meanwhile, the evidence from the book and his columns is overwhelming.

One of the columns says he played abroad so that contradicts it.

I really couldn't give a toss who it is but wouldn't surprise me if he's thrown in stories of pals to pass off as his own to throw the scent off. I am sure he'll out himself when he wants to sell another book after he's quit the game.
