can some one please tell Federici and co that he would be nothing if it weren't for Reading. Loyalty? we owe him nothing.

He's lost the plot because he's finally on the stage that he thinks he deserves...... And he's fukked up.

Well he's doubly fukked up now .... Lets hope his petulance doesn't go unpunished. A loan move to Preston NE in Jan should bring him down a notch or 2 (and his Mrs)

lol that's really gonna do Feds good - I don't see Alf moaning when he was dropped after the Stoke game

If I were him I'd tell his missus to shut the fcuk up before the club see it

In fact anyone on twitter fancy replying to her?!

Just throwing that in there, goalkeepings not like being dropped from outfield...

Does sound like feds threw his toys out of the pram, but in fairness not his fault what his girlfriends sister says! Though just remembering something I was told, a friend of mine knows Feds ex, worked with her for years in a banks office in Reading, apparently she stuck with him while he was on trials and desperate for a contract, but he dumped her for someone else as soon as he became no.1! Loyalty!

Reading FC will not tolerate this.

It will be done quietly but he will be gone as soon as it can be arranged.

Hopefully.

There must be plenty of top flight clubs around Europe willing to offer him an unconditional first team place.

You're two thirds right, the last third depends on how he reacts to his smack down.

What's funny about his missus having a hissy fit - did she fail to see how shite he was in the first 3 games of the season? You can't live on past success, fact is you gotta pick your best XI on current form not last seasons.

And women wonder why us blokes don't take them seriously when it comes to football.

if its just his girlfriend ranting and being stupid then i feel bad for feds because this possibly could end his career here. if it is true that he was unhappy that he didnt get picked for the match and he went on a rant, he should know better than most that, that wont stand at this club and that is grounds for getting let go. he owes reading everything, he couldnt get a trial anywhere before we took him on. hes a good keeper but he isnt irreplaceable.

Yep agree, there were no comments going in. She was a little to late in deleting.

This thread will be removed tomorrow no doubt.

What a joke. One thing is for sure, our club wont tolerate that. Federici needs to man up and accept the decision, he has clearly been dropped for a good reason. Why not give McCarthy a chance, he has proved he is at Feds level, if not better. I remember when he got a run in the team when we went on the first winning streak (2010-11 season) he was superb. He was shakey against Spurs for obvious reasons, he needs a few games. He was very close to keeping out Defoe's opener as well. If this is the last we see of Federici at Reading then McCarthy should be the only choice we have. I dont ever want to see Stuart "Ive sat on the bench for most of my career and i'm happy to keep doing so" Taylor in a Reading shirt.
