I guess I'll just be the only one to predict a win, then (apart from Brendy, course)

1-0 Reading
Harte

EDIT: Just a tad late...

Do you seriously believe that Harte will be playing?
If so 4-1 to West Brom.
If not,3-1 to West Brom with that big Chelsea lad causing havoc down our left side regardless of who plays left back.
Jobi to move inside on 77 minutes and HRK to come on.

I'm predicting anything other than a convincing win will bring on wave upon wave of Hob Nobbers:

1. Declaring us relegated.
2. Giving up on the season.
3. Moaning that we didn't spend enough.
4. Faulting whichever goalie plays.
5. Blaming it on Ian Harte
6. Start calling for BMcD's resignation.

If we win:

1. Late push for Europe
2. Season only just beginning
3. Shrewd spending is the "Reading way"
4. Always had faith in our youth keepers.
5. "What Harte lacks in pace he makes up for in skill"
6. Brian McDermott for president of the world.

cmonurz 2-0 West Brom.

Simon's Church Long will almost definitely win a penalty.

Uncanny. My (unfortunate) thoughts exactly.

Post Script: On the back of a 90quid little earner on (unfortunately) getting the right result against Spurs.

Royal Bahamas Brian will be working hard with this team to get them back to being 'THE TEAM!', regardless of the turmoil that is going on. At the same time West Brom will be having their own problems, as there is definitely something wrong up there. You don't get the sort of Red Card reaction on a pitch unless there is something brewing that is just now starting to rear it's ugly head.

We shall be on the UP,....whilst they are definitely going to be on a DOWN.

Reading 3 - 1

Guthrie, Pearce, Alfie - Long

Apart from some of mine, that is the worst post I have ever read - anywhere.

Thanks. I worked hard at every detail. The sheer scale of the psycholocal depths that I plummed were so immense, that I was not sure I could come back from it......... 8)

I quite liked your post. It was being positive about Reading so it made me smile. More bad posts like that please! :D

I can't see us winning this. I'm going for a 2-1 loss - with Pog grabbing an equaliser, only for Long to make grown men cry with seconds left on the clock.

All very well, but where does Federici's WAG fit in to all of this?
