Leaps and bounds better than last week. Both strikers, McCleary & Ledge struggling to get into it, but McAnuff has stepped it up, and the defense are playing with a lot more structure and confidence without Harte.

Frustrated with Ledge. Pog looks a bit too easy to take the ball from. Guthrie and Jobi getting more into the game. Shorey looks confident. But I don't know where a goal will come from except Lukaku...

Mike Hunt
sputnik Not a bad 45 minutes. Closing down is much better. McCarthy looking solid, but not much is happening upfront.

Its all good, we have some good options on the bench

This.

Brian will put them right at half time.

Good keeping from McCarthy.
McAnuff our best player atm.
Reckon that should have been a pen for us. At least a free kick. Dunno what the spacker commontators on Fox TV or whatever shit it is are going on about.
Gorko is playing weird. He needs to stop being all weird and dribbling the length of the pitch like a lone action hero.
Thank f/ck WBA dropped Long. Their strike-force is gypsy garden ornaments.
Pog is toilet. Hurry up Roberts.
Alf still looking promising.

In the game, but not quite in control. Need to create more - Pog needs to give us something to aim at, win some more balls and bring people into the game more. Praps alf could drop back a little, or maybe McCleary could cut inside and give the midfield some f/cking purpose.

Think we miss Harte.

Pog looks like he may have picked up a knock to me. He was holding his leg in the first half - but not in a good way you understand - and looks pretty off the pace to me. I'm a bit surprised at the comments saying how much better we are this match and we're playing well. I think it's pretty dire from both sides to be honest.

Agreed, but Alf should've kept running, he was 50/50 for a goal.

Another good save from McCarthy. At this rate Feds will have a job winning back his place in the team.
