BR2 Marvellous.
Dog-very much a part-time follower of Man Utd these days then so you're off the pace, just like most of their players yesterday (according to Ferguson).

Rumpole Just listening to the 606 podcast and there was some scouser in tears about the 'behaviour of the United fans after the final whistle'. He said their behaviour was 'so appalling it's indescribable'. I can find no reports anywhere of anything other than United fans being on the very best of bahaviour - can anyone shed any light about what this loon was going on about?

Alan Partridge All it's showing is Rodgers to be the fraud that he is. Liverpool are Reading. Pass Pass Pass, go nowhere, have ZERO cutting edge, defender gives ball away, conceed, lose. Repeat. Plus the standard talk about other teams players, make a prat of yourself by letting one of your 2 forwards go and sign a load of dross.
Walked into a perfect job where Martinez had done the ground work and other than that a total shambLOLes. Sacked by January.
Stay lucky.

When they were being held back after the game they did the "Always the victim, it's never your fault" chant.
Also, the press don't seem to have mentioned much about the chanting during the "tribute". Lots of reports of it being impeccably observed.
No Fixed Abode Another defeat. Who will Cmonurz support in the big relegation battle between Liverpool and Reading in a few weeks?

I think they played pretty well to be fair and deserved more from the game.
They do look a little Rodgers-Reading like at the moment as they're creating chances and playing some good stuff at times but not putting the ball in the net. That's pretty similar to Liverpool last year of course, but I think the powers that be at Anfield will probably give him more time than Reading did.
Losing Agger will be a big blow for them. Carragher is well past it and from the little I've seen of him Coates isn't up to the Premier League yet so they're likely to be a bit light at the back.

Liverpool fans later took to Twitter to criticise Halsey's decisions, making reference to him dying of cancer.

cmonurz Would absolutely agree with Joe Jordan (I think it was) who said that anyone caught making these gestures, chants or songs at a game should receive life bans.
