who are ya? Why be a football fan if you have a zero tolerance to tossers :|

Can you write anything without adding a neutral f/cking smiley? And what the dripping snatch has watching and enjoying football got to do with laughing at air crashes and rhyming "scouser and his mate" with "crushed against the gate"?

I'm also able to enjoy food, though I did hear paedophiles like a f/cking snack now and then. What a daft argument.

Evans didn't go high and got the ball. Shelvey went over the top and got Evans.

I thought it was 50/50 red/yellow at the time and either decision I can live with. Perhaps i'd err slightly more toward the yellow but it looked worse full speed. Dive in like that and you can't afford to get there late.

Exactly that. Shelvey got there a bit late and caught Evans, can’t complain at the red. Had Shelvey got there first, we might have seen Evans sent off. Two players just going for the ball, full-bloodied. I'd sooner a yellow for both for recklessness, but that's not how the game is these days.

It's easy to see why Halsey gave a red. A little debatable perhaps, but at least it wasn't an 'undeserved' red card like Huddlestones the other week.(which consequently got rescinded)

The only issue I have with this is that we've seen quite a few examples of tackles that win the ball resulting in red cards because, apparently, the player isn't in control and so it's been deemed to be reckless and dangerous.

Both players in that tackle are lunging in in a way that we're told means they don't have control. Personally I don't think that's really the case but the one thing people rightly call for from referee's is some consistency in their decision making.

Personally I wouldn't do anything more than give a free kick for the one who mis-timed it slightly, and possibly a yellow, but by the recent interpretation of the laws both should've been shown a red.
