juanpabloIan Royal Not while we don't have a quicker, better left back available. McAnuff didn't create much today, or against Stoke, but he gave Chelsea plenty of scares and he'll do a hell of a lot more defensively than McCleary of Kebe.
Kebe's defensive game has come on a lot
Jobi just doesn't have the skill to beat a man. If we have to play 4-5-1 and have to play our captain then drop Jem put Jobi in the middle and shift Jimmy out wide
dont create chances, dont score goals

Did you see Chelsea?
He's got plenty of skill to beat a man. He's not started well and he's playing with freedom at the moment, but that doesn't mean he can't still damage team at this level. We're already struggling in midfield a bit and you want to play 5 across the middle with only one player who's any good at tackling!?

Stuboo If it's true that Kebe is fit to play again now, I would hope to see him play against QPR on Wednesday or Newcastle on Saturday. To start him, or bring him on with 20 minutes or so to go, that's the question. I'd start him in place of McCleary to see how he goes, but that's just me.

That's true to greater or lesser extents of almost any winger. And when he's in reasonable form (I'm not saying he's started the season very well) he tends to make good decisions about when to take a player on and when to play the ball to someone else in better space and retain possession.chilipepper91Ian Royaljuanpablo

He's got skill to beat a man when running at them, as you probably remember from the run for the free-kick Guthrie scored from. If you get tight to him he can't do anything, sadly. Hopefully the return of Shorey today, and the slightly weaker opposition, will mean for space for him (and let's be honest, he needs a good performance today to shut the doubters up).

Stuboo Cheers. Kebe to start on Saturday it is then, for me, with McCleary coming off the bench.
