BR2No Fixed Abode West Brom 1 - 0 Liverpool
Why didn't you update the score?
Because I signed out before the game had finished.

BR2No Fixed Abode
Because I signed out before the game had finished.
But Liverpool equalised a few minutes after West Brom had scored and with your keen interest in all things Liverpool I would have thought that you would (like you normally do) keep everybody else informed.

Victor Meldrew The same Capital One cup that Chelsea were the only Premier side to put their first team out for.
BTW as posted on another thread I'm right behind Chelsea's approach.

Hoop Blah Cummings, Mariappa, Tabb, Robson-Kanu, Kebe, Hunt and possibly Karacan wouldn't have played had it been a league game.
We didn't play what the manager considers to be his strongest team. If we did, I've got some questions to ask as to why he didn't play it in the league!
No idea on the other sides you've mentioned, but I'm guessing they all made a reasonable number of changes too.

Er we put out our first team.. Norwich did, Newcastle did, Arsenal had what could be considered their strongest team out, Villa? City?
You really are a tool Victor, and I don't even like Kes, or Chelsea

Er..Newcastle for starters-No Harper,no Simpson,no Taylor,no Gutierrez,no Ba,no Ben Arfa,no Cisse,no Cabaye,no Santon.
City made some 6 changes,Norwich apparently made 11 changes, take a look at the Arsenal side beyond the front 3.
Care to take back the tool comment?

Mariappa, Cummings, Kebe and Karacan will all be starters at some point this season, in fact Karacan already did start. Only Tabb Kanu and Hunt are the ones there who won't.

Maguire Evans didn't go high and got the ball. Shelvey went over the top and got Evans.
I thought it was 50/50 red/yellow at the time and either decision I can live with. Perhaps i'd err slightly more toward the yellow but it looked worse full speed. Dive in like that and you can't afford to get there late.

Super_horns True and I guess he did it through the right channels rather than some rant in the media or on Sky..
I agree the red card incident was harsh in that Evans only got booked but I didn't think the ref had a complete nightmare as suggested.
It was very much 50/50 in all 3 key incidents..you would have to see a replay to see Valencia dived.

Only one issue with that ..... Evans didn't get booked (not for that incident anyway)
