floyd__streete Maybe he just doesn't rate us, as most neutrals don't? Its only the deluded, small-minded Reading fan who is convinced we're going to stay in this league and who gets affronted when our many obvious and costly deficiencies are pointed out.

I'm by no means perfect, but Nice one Floyd, you've just insulted everyone who thinks we are going to stay up.

Not really, only the once who are convinced of it to the point that they can't accept his view.

Obviously he didn't help himself with his predictions in our first season in the PL but what is he supposed to do, change his opinion because Reading fans are getting upset?

He should put in a bit of effort to knowing about the clubs he's talking about, and put some sort of thought into his predictions rather than just dismissing a team as shit all over the pitch.

If we finish the season with fewer than 20 points, I'll let him off.

It was Floyd's insinuation that anyone who believes we are going to stay up is small minded and deluded which was what I am taking issue with.

I'll put myself up against Lawro for a laugh. No thought into this, no checking of form, just random choice based on not a lot. So exactly the same way Lawro does things.

1] Citeh v Sunderland: 2-1
2] Chelsea v Norwich: 3-0
3] Swansea v Reading: 2-0
4] West Brom v QPR: 1-1
5] Wigan v Everton: 0-1
6] West Ham v Arsenal: 2-2
7] Saints v Fulham: 1-2
8] Liverpool v Stoke: 0-0
9] Spurs v Villa: 2-0
10] Newcastle v Utd: 2-3

Obviously City are 2-0 up at this point, but I did write these down before I went out a couple of hours ago.

Round brackets gives you an emoticon with an 8 which irritates me a little.

Given I got the result right, yes, I'm having a point for City vs Sunderland and Chelsea vs Norwich.

So my total, having put zero thought into it is 9 (thank you for rescuing me Brendan). And professional football pundit Lawrenson gets 7. Who is also beaten by Dave Brailsford, cycling coach, with 8.

8)

Might make this a regular battle of the clueless. It's win win for you lot, you either get to laugh at Lawro for being shitter than me, or get to laugh at me for being shitter than Lawro.

A lot of people saw it coming, and now it has happened - Fabio Borini's foot injury means Liverpool are down to one fit senior striker in Luis Suarez and the decision to let Andy Carrol leave without signing a replacement is starting to look more and more ridiculous.

It's all very well saying that they can bring a striker in January but it is only middle of October, and that is a long time to wait.

Liverpool have to start picking points up now and they need to climb the table now.

Everyone has been in agreement that they have had a tough start to the season, with games against Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal, but it is games like Reading at home that they just have to win.

I can see them having loads of possession against Reading, which is great, but the important things are (a) where they have it and (b) how they use it - and for me, Liverpool still don't get enough men in the opposition penalty area.

I do think Liverpool will do enough to get the three points but Reading know they are in a relegation fight already and they will make things difficult for them, especially having seen other teams come to Anfield in the last few months and leave with a reward for their hard work.

Prediction: 2-0

IR vs Lawrenson. Again, I've made no attempt to check form, player availability, or put any real thought into this. Last time around IR 9 - 7 Lawro.

1-2 Spurs v Chelsea
2-0 Fulham v Villa
1-0 L'pool v 'ding
2-1 Utd v Stoke
0-0 Swans v Wigan
1-3 WBA v City
1-0 West Ham v Saints
1-4 Narch v Arse
1-0 Mackem v Geordie
0-2 QPR v Everton

Let's try predicting Lawro's prediction for our game. This week I saw Lawro will say:
Liverpool 4 - 1 Reading
