maybe Mr Defeatist....but our results suggest that we haven't been thrashed off the park just yet, there are (at least according to the table) two teams that are worse than us.

That "flag" before the game was ridiculous, I've got bigger bath towels.

And those happy clappy things, they are 5hit in the extreme.

The game was nervous, we may cut loose a bit on Tuesday and benefit from the pressure being off some what but next week at Rangers is massive. I don't think Roberts and Pog work, Roberts is always looking for the foul not looking to win the high ball, that got a bit tedious. Would have put Alf on for him much earlier. Hope we start 442 on Sunday.

Roberts did some very good stuff today, but it is frustrating when he would rather stick his arse into the defender rather than just try and win the ball.

Everything I want to say I just know will get said and like the team for a large part of this season I can't be bothered.

Don't always agree with Floyd but today he has it spot on in line with my thoughts.

We are now in a situation where we need to win a third of our remaining games. It just ain't gonna happen.

Brian and his decisions taking us far as we can go?

Whilst he is still free and a transfer window looming, although it pains me to say it is it now time to call for the services of Rednapp before QPR get there before us. Something needs to happen and I fear it will be a new manager before results change.

TSI need to start showing some muscle.

No point in changing if a new manager isn't backed with £. None whatsoever.

That's not entirely fair. A new manager, especially someone proven, will have his way of playing the game. Anything but oxf*rd long balls really. I love Brian dearly, but all he did in the second half was point up the pitch for more long balls. That will not keep us up!!

The positive: The team's fighting spirit and the fact they didn't get up.

However, when the false euphoria of twice coming back from the dead to grab a point subsides, reality should set in. Fact is, this was another two invaluable points thrown away. No doubt many of those who, this time last week, were confidently predicting Fulham would be our first win will now point to Fulham's form and position in the table and claim that we did really well to get a point!

Our midfield is just not good enough. I like Jay Tabb who could be described a a hardworking and good, honest professional but no way is he a Premier League player. Furthermore, as Legs noticeably tired, and started losing his men and gifting possession away like Christmas had arrived early, we had no one who could replace him. What is most annoying is that a player who could have brought some much needed attacking and tackling strength to our midfield is spending a lot of his time on the Fulham bench! Would Sidwell not have welcomed the chance of returning to us? Was he really not affordable?

And just what the hell does McDermott say to put the team to sleep at half-time?! In the first half workrate was tremendous, we were in Fulham's faces, passing was good (not just hoof) and we were in control of the game. Yet the team returned to the pitch after half-time and played like 11 zombies! That's how Fulham got back into the game and came away with a point. Maybe Brian would be better off staying in the dugout when the team go off for half-time!

Sparta - I think it's clear you sit on the side of the lets sack Brian camp!

There is no doubt in my mind that Brian is the man to get the best from the current squad. Sacking him & giving a new guy no money will not help one iota. It will just demoralise the squad IMO.

All depends on what TSI want at the end of the day. If they are happy to just see what happens, not invest much & take the PL money ala Blackpool then Brian's job is 100% safe.

If however they start getting cold feet and decide they want to stay in the PL at all costs, then we may well see a change of manager.

Who says he isn't backed with money? I fear that he is committing the same 'loyalty to his players who got him him to the PL' mistakes as Coppell. Trouble is many of those players aren't even as good as those that Coppell relied on.

General consensus.

Roberts and Pog could work
Defensively we're not awful but we're so weak in the centre of midfield
We can't score 3 at home and not win!!!

I swear our only move the whole game was:

Kebe down the wing on a counter
Kebe turns and passes to Cummings
Cummings lays the ball off for a diagonal to McAnuff
McAnuff cuts inside
McAnuff crosses
Header.

That was pretty much IT. Overall felt thrilled at the end, but it's definitely 2 points dropped.

Thought that was probably Tabb's best game in a Reading shirt, and taking him off was quite harsh but understandable considering we had to change the shape going forward.

Also thought Kebe, McAnuff, Leigertwood, Roberts and all three subs had good games, one PL win and everything will change imo.

Anyone who thinks McDermott should go at this stage is an idiot.
