BM will be gone by Sunday night if we lose that game. We cannot carry on losing games like this. I know this is the cup, but it's exactly the same tactics as in any other game, with woeful player choices, hoof ball and no tactics to keep the lead when we take it.

peterroyal76 Its a MINIMUM of four minutes!!!!

Yes. Standard 'rule' is 30 seconds for any sub, so that's ok. Nothing else happened to warrant additional time on top of that, especially as the ball twice went dead after the 4 minutes.

It's poor officiating, made worse by even poorer defending.

morrisson must have had about three or four headers and he has gotten under every one of them, learn to time them, for a cb your attacking headers are woeful

I know it's a MINIMUM of extra time, but where do you draw the line? What's to stop a ref giving an extra 10 mins and then saying, well it was only a MINIMUM of 4 minutes so I decided to play 10. There was no need for the extra 2 minutes, however, as I've said, we shouldn't have been in the position after being 4-0 up that a last gasp goal to the opposition, 2 minutes after the 4 mins given, should have mattered a oxf*rd.

BM will say in his interview that he is gutted for the fans, he'll say something about the ref and he'll say the players did him proud or something.

I think the point re extra-time, my reading of it anyway, is that Koscielny only stayed on the pitch because in Mr Friend's head 'there's a few seconds left, Reading win, everyone is happy' - he then proceeded to give them another minute and a bit in which to score.

What the hell happened in that half time team talk.

'Great half lads we've ripped them to shreds down the wings, lets see if we can do it through the middle instead this half'' :|

John Madejski's Wallet Does my bet for arsenal to win include winning in ET?

//would be of little consolation admittedly

Usually over 90 mins for a win. Full game to qualify

Yeah, this defeat, should it materialise, might be a lot more damaging than a 'normal' 0-2 or 0-3 might have been.
