paultheroyal In retaliation to sock gate at West Ham I have heard West Ham fans are printing 4000 song sheets to help sing songs for us and generally take the p1$$. True story.

hah deperate measures by a club struggling to come to terms with their rubbish record against a provincial team. It says more about them than it does us. Where did you read that anyway?

Avon Royal LOL at getting upset at the fact we have music after we score.

Compo's Hat Anyone else notice how the ref had to wait after our 2nd or 3rd goal (can't remember which) because of that stupid music?
Players had run back with the ball and everyone was ready to kick off but couldn't.

Are you being serious? Surely you are not suggesting that the referee waited for the crowd to settle back down in seats before alllowing the game to restart. I am sorry, I just don't go with that.

weybridgewanderer suspect we are getting ripped apart on twitter tonight
doubt its coz of the music though

Divvy Nonsense. In games where we were still celebrating in the stands the games have kicked back off. The refs don't wait for the fans to simmer down, let alone the goal music to stop.

Jackson Corner Are we the only prem club that plays music? Do the club not realise how pathetic it makes us look? Thay could at least do a survey on the website to see who does and does not want it.

IrvinchangeyanameBarry the bird boggler Goal music stinks full stop, it is just so plastic and cr*p and KILLS the celebratory atmosphere as all the 8 years olds go do-da-do-de or whatever. On top of that the music we use is such utter shite anyway.
Like the pre-match team handshake it should be one of those things thrown out of the game with immediate effect.
By the way does/did the club survey of fans ask about goal music?
I think the Q&A they did recently was pretty clear on the club's position on this:
Can we scrap goal music?
Sorry James we know it doesn’t suit 100% of our fans but we believe it makes a positive difference. Just so you know all departments of the club are part of the decision – the football management and our club matchday team too.
