Better than losing to Northampton on pens in the 2nd round.

Rev Algenon Stickleback H As a club we've lost 0-18 away and 0-7 at home in the FA Cup.
Anyone who thinks last night was more embarrassing than either of those two is a total mong.

Rev Algenon Stickleback Hmelonheadyeah - that's the worst part. Losing to a rag-tag bunch of nobodies who only cost £55 million.
err...that was kind of the point.

Tamworth_Royaldouble d hardly the most embarrassing game ever. There have been so many worse. Arsenal are not exactly the worst team in the world (even their ressies). The ref did cheat us out with that extra 2 mins at the end though.
name the other results.
Just been described by 5 Live as the greatest ever comeback........... and it was against Reading football club. Expect this result to reach all corners of the world. Pathetic

Why was that embarrassing?
We were a team of amateurs who played for fun, Preston North End were professionals and founder members of the Football League, in which they'd finished first, first, second and second in the previous 4 seasons.
Nothing to be embarrassed about in such a mis-match there.

Believe we also had no studs and the pitch was a mudbath, also I'm sure I read somewhere that we may have only had 10 players for some part as the keeper couldn't continue as he was full of pie.
The 0-7 at home to Man C was not as embarrassing but there were 2 divisions between the clubs, we'd already held them 0-0 at their place and that season they were the best team in the country
On Tuesday we threw away a 4-0 lead to a reserve team from a club in the same division which I think is far more embarrassing especially given the nature of the goals conceded (e.g. headers at corners to "teeny weeny" players)

Arsenal 4 - Newcastle United 0 turns into Arsenal 4 Newcastle United 4. January 2011. Will that do for a starter? At least we were playing a team that was expected to be better than us. Allowing the Toon to come back is certainly in the running for a 'worse' result.

You're right, and I apologise for that.
It's an insult to suggest someone with Down's syndrome could be that stupid.
