I kinda expect to see someone come in for Gorkss after a few too many errors. Would also expect Guthrie to play since just don't think Legs and Tabb will both be able to play after running themselves into the ground the other night. Roberts and Hunt up front again would be nice - they looked v strong together again.

ATHLETES, with Wednesday and Thursday for complete rest, Friday-Saturday training?

It's not like they've played 2/3 of the season and are worn out

Last season I asked about Harte playing in front of the back four and was laughed at.

He has a good pass on him.

I don't care what should be the case. Jay Tabb can't play more than 60 mins of a game, if you're being generous. Playing on Saturday, then on Tuesday, then again on Sunday will be too much for his little legs to take

USA_Loyal_Royal in a perfect world:

mccarthy
shorey, mariappa, pearce, gunter
kebe, guthrie, leg, mcanuff,
pog, alife

probably starting:

mccarthy
shorey, gorkks, mariappa, gunter
kebe, tabby, leg, mcanuff
roberts, pog

Er... why are you playing Shorey right back and Gunter left back? If you mean it the other way around, why are you playing McAnuff right wing and Kebe left wing?

For me;

McCarthy,
Cummings, Pearce, Mariappa, Shorey
McCleary, Leigertwood, Tabb, HRK
Roberts, Hunt

Federici, Morrison, Kebe, McAnuff, Guthrie, Pogrebnyak, Le Fondre (off bench, 60ish)

Although
- ALF needs to be subbed in early, bring him and Pog on about 60th, once Hunt and Roberts have worn down their defence, unless it's working.
- McCleary, doesn't look confident without Gunter.
- HRK and McCleary both look better as impact players.
- We don't have a decent set piece in that team, based on recent performances (although could say we don't have one in the squad right now). I want to say I'd like to see Harte back in, but Shorey is undroppable and I don't think his set pieces have been any better for a long time.
- Does Feds deserve a spot on the bench?
- Some of those players may well be blowing out of their arse after Tuesday, Tabb?
