Who's to blame? The Fans

by leon » 01 Nov 2012 20:16

Listen guys - I've been thinking about it. All this negativity around Hob Nob (you know who you are) and at games (the jeering when passes go wrong, the haranguing of the ball children etc) it's rubbing off on the team and creating bad energy in the Club. Players read Hob Nob, they'll read Donkey Lover II's latest rantings about Gorkss. It's fault we haven't won a game in the league all season.

I think you're on to something. For the first half I'm on my feet, loud, boisterous and well up for it. Then the second half comes and I take it easy, I sit down, have a drink, maybe a bite to eat and I relax. In my defence, Brian told me to though!

I know; I mean what's the point of putting Fabio Capello on my top ten list of managers I have seen on Sky Sports News that I demand to replace Brian (he can't really cut in the Prem) by the transfer window if this sort of negative nit picking is going to keep him in the Russia job?

I agree there is a general negativity which can't help but to say its a major rather than a minor factor is simply incorrect. The same goes for when you're on a run and everyone's positive - the team affects the fans much more than the fans affect the team.

Oh oxf*rd off. The atmosphere at the lego bowl has been very supportive of the team and Brian. It's starting to turn, but the OP is not serious.

I don't think this whole Jimmy Saville thing has helped either. It couldn't have come at a worse time.

it all went wrong just after #robin van persie - he's laughing at this#

Stop the big bad wolf shit, drop the clappers, drop the huddle, drop the "back the boys" make some noise guff, drop the goal music.

Looking forward to away games more than home at the moment.

Have you got a Grange Hill script from 1980?

I agree we're to blame and I think the fans should get in huddles before the game. One for each block.
