ZacNaloen
Some of them can't be far off. And we have some players who can actually pass the ball in there as well.

melonheadRoyal91 Brilliant so the only player that can pass has now had a bust up. If I were Guthrie and the manager kept putting a second rate winger in CM and taking me off I would be pissed off!
Not only that he sees Tabb lining up in front of him. McDermott has to realise this is a results business not lets play a shit player because he's a nice guy.
think guthrie has to realise that while since when he is played he gives the bal away as much as anyone in the team, doesnt work as hard, and has shown precious little of his vaunted creativity, that he should probably stop moaning and blaming everyone else, and start looking at how he can improve his game, and that of the team

Snowball IMO those stats are an indictment of Guthrie
Just 1.5% ahead of ALF, 3.5% ahead of Elwood
who wins ten times as many tackles, fights for 90 minutes
and has scored 2 goals already?
I don't think 80% is great for a man who's supposed to be the ball-playing play-maker

paultheroyal Guthrie trending on Twitter. Newcastle fans want him back. A number of their fans putting their struggles down to not having that creative link that Guthrie provided. Want him back in January.

Hoop Blah Interesting that Guthrie is supposedly back in training from this morning, and knew he was going to be back 5 days ago.
That's pretty much 4 weeks to the day he was dropped (and this thread started) and before he then picked up his injury. If I were a conspiracy theorist I'd suggest that he was given a 4 week break to learn how we do things.
