agreed, it's a good point for Reading though. You've got to beat teams like QPR at home though.

Royal Lady If we get a draw, I'll be over the bloody moon to be perfectly honest.

Royal Lady I'm already furious. We're shit. QPR are shit and we can't beat them. WHERE is a win going to come from?

Just say what you mean RL.

LOL - fair comment - but I think I thought if we drew, we'd have come from behind to get it, not take the lead again and give it away!

But yeah, I suppose we should be grateful we got a point and QPR didn't get 3 - so I should be a bit happier than I currently feel.

I just can't believe the way we play sometimes - some of our players are woeful really.

Roberts was average today, Tabb the complete opposite. Played very well, broke up play and tried to get the ball moving. Impressed by Morrison, McCarthy kept us in it with a couple of crucial saves and McCleary worked his socks off. Unfortunately, that won't win you games in the PL. Cisse's touch of class proved decisive in the end. Quality investment needed in January, either on players that might keep us up, or on players that will take us back up. Will be an interesting month.

Those slating McDermott were the same ones calling him God at the end of last season. Such is modern football.

Royalee
Simon's Church I h8 Le Fondre

Why? Because he's our only natural goalscorer?

:|

Apart from a run of 7-8 games last season he's been completely anonymous since he joined.

And it's pretty obvious he's a massive pcunt.

If only we bothered to invest in the players we currently have. I wonder, if Pearce goes, how much we will end up spending on new players in January and what their wages will be (if we can attract any that is) and how that equates to what Pearce is asking for?

Watched it illegally on myp2p. Thought we did ok, not great, but ok. Considering half those guys played 120mins on tuesday, and the nature of that loss, not losing was absolutely vital. Tabb had a good game I thought, broke things up well. Happy with the back 4, but we always seem a little light when the oppo counter ( as all teams do i guess!).
Good point, let's beat norwich at home.

He reminds me of Jamie Cureton and should play up front with Roberts because Jamie played with him 13 years ago and scored a few goals. Plus, we'd have Alf Roberts as a strikeforce, OMG LOL.

He reminds me of a fat, ugly Cureton. With terrible hair.

LOL at it being possible to be uglier than Adam

C'mon, people need to get a reality check. Yes Reading play anti-football, but a point at QPR isn't a bad result.

Terrible diving from Le Fondre though. CHEAT!

Did Chelski win this weekend Kes or did they have to resort to calling the ref a racist to mask their own inadequacies again, like they did last week?

I don't really know what you guys were expecting. We are effectively an above average Championship team who have added a couple of stunningly average PL players. We have played 9 games and only been beaten by 4 teams. Those 4 teams have been Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and West Brom. You could argue about the West Brom game but they look like a solid mid table/ top half team this year, but apart from that top teams. We have drawn some games many expected us to lose, Newcastle, Swansea away, and we have been in positions where we could have got a lot more points from those games than we have got. Fcuking perspective people. What did you think was going to happen. That we'd win the league by xmas? Jesus H Fcuking christ.
