I like him too and his performance yesterday makes a mockery of the person that disagreed when I said, in the summer, he was one of our best young players 8)

If he matures and improves, he will be a very good CB.

Shame about that flying (missed) header yesterday.

Had that not resulted in Cisse's goal we might well be celebrating our first win.

He still, overall, had a very good game

Apparently he's playing for free as well, because he loves football.

Pepe the Horseman BUMP :!:

I like him. Tall, handsome and not bad at football.

It's no good being handsome if you are going to cut your hair like Oswald Mosley.

He seems to be a bit of a younger version of Matt Mills with more potential...
Good in the air, quick, strong in the tackle and a bit hit and miss with his distribution... I Predict a McCarthy-style rise into the first-team.

What I liked about his distribution was that it was slightly more nuanced than a lump up field.

In other words he passed it out.

Morrison seems to have more of a sense of humour than Mills. If he becomes a good player for us, he could become a crowd favourite.

Talking of Mills, a peculiar fact about him struck me the other day. Three times he has been signed by a manager only for that manager to be sacked before Christmas of his first season. It's as if he's a footballing version of the Masque of the Red Death.

He can piss where he wants if he plays well as far as I'm concerned, within reason.

Tbf he would only have to do a half-smirk to prove that.

At times during the arsenal game he was a bit suspect, but then again he was the only defender to put in a respectable performance.
During the Qpr game I remember loads of times that qpr crossed it in and he would be there every time, the height thing is a definite advantage over mapps, whose not bad in the air, but was more there for tracking back with his pace of which morrison has a lot of too.

I'll only forgive his deviance if he works it into the celebration of his first premier league goal

Put it to him on twitter.

I've already planned it out in my head.

He scores a goal.

Nonchalantley goes over to the corner flag.

Mines using the urinal and the rest of the squad bundle him.

Lolz all round.

The end.

still one of my favourite things of last season, seeing mills go for the money, and to a team with "ambition"only to see them fold despite paying millions for a load of players everyone here thought we should have been signing, fall out with his manager, get sent on loan, and see his career flow down the plughole, while we went up as champions.

unlucky mathew

lol at any team out there still willing to pay money for him/to him
