Spot on Bryan.

Inconsistent, great attitude, inexpensive, lacks quality, works hard, good team ethic but not good enough for this division.

Which other players typify this club?

Can't fault Tabb for effort and commitment but worrying when he is our best player.

I hope he continues his good form but could really do with a few others stepping up. Tabb is a ball winner and can break up the opposition possession but he is not a midfielder that can control the game which we are desperately crying out for.

Fair play to him for taking his chance.

Perhaps Scott Parker is a poor mans Jay Tabb?

He's a nice guy and has improved over the past couple of games, but McDermott is deluded if he thinks he's good enough to play in this league. But I guess he's giving him as much motivation as possible to get the absolute maximum out!

Very surprised to read that many people have missed how he has really stepped up his game in the last few games. He has put in solid displays defensively and has also offered a fair bit going forward. Some players can make the step up (Just look at S Hunt for a prime example of someone not in the team in the championship that turned out to be one of our better players in the prem).

You sound like a bit of a kunt.

Tabb suits Brian's game. Sadly Brian's game doesn't suit the Premiership. Tabby is a cracking player tho.

Jay Tabb is a good solid player and has often proved that when called off the bench.

A Jack of all Trades without being a master of any which seems to show the lack of quality we have in the middle of the park to choose from.
He will give his all but is that enough?
Perhaps I can empathise with Jay as he only appears to be a bit of a player and apparently Ionly sound like a bit of what you have clearly mastered.

Decent, hard-working, well-educated, honest, model professional.

Just not a goal-scorer.

Think he has more quality than some give him credit for. Better on the ball than either Ledge or Karacan IMO.

He needs to get fitter though.

Yeah, I could sort of see that... he was really good alongside Howard a few seasons ago. I think he's been a bit unlucky with Karacan's rise to prominence. I don't actually think there's a huge amount between them. Tabb's a bit calmer, stronger and better at passing, Karacan's a touch more athletic and can score goals occasionally.

He knows that and he says that playing games is getting him fitter.

Royal91 McDermott is deluded if he thinks he's good enough to play in this league.

That's clearly wrong. If he's been in the top 5 players on the pitch for the last two games then he clearly is good enough by the fact that he's done just that.

Really :|

This is HNA where know nothings like traff are two a penny.

So very few (and I'm no exception) expected Tabb to be putting in those kind of performances at this level..........................but that's no excuse for refusing to accept that he was one of the best players on the pitch on Sunday.

Feel free, Jay, to continue making mugs out of our resident idiots.
