Mr Angry Its a bit fanciful to believe that all of Pompey's problems will disappear if the PST takes over; I'd suggest that whilst one set of issues will be potentially resolved (and only then if Chainrai agrees to sell the Trust Fratton Park at a price they can afford) a whole new set will emerge.
I for one, cannot see their fans giving the new owners - even fellow Pompey fans - too much time before their demands of wanting instant success, and for "Pompey to be back where they belong!!" become deafening.
For a start, don't they have another 10 point deduction hanging over their heads at the moment??

Barry the bird boggler It is still disgusting that they are allowed to build a competitive squad of players rather than being told that more or less every penny has to go into settling outstanding debts - oh but I forgot, football clubs are allowed to scrap all their debts, when they feel like it, and then pretty much carry on where they left off aren't they?

handbags_harris With Dirk on this one I think. There is a major difference in mindset when you have a singular or consortium owner compared to a supporter's group - when you have a supporter's group you can be as sure as possible that the group is doing absolutely everything in the club's best interests in order to improve the clubs chances of success, whereas you can't be sure the owner or consortium are. The latter leads to increased demands to perform actions that are geared towards improving the clubs chances of success.
Probably why, despite being relegated last season (having admittedly overachieved) and currently on a poor run of form, I can't think of a good friend of mine saying there are boos ringing out at St James Park, Exeter, and part of me can't envisage that happening unless they get relegated again and don't do particularly well the season after...

SPARTA Appleton to Blackpool.
How has he done enough to justify that move? He's done nothing at Pompey with some decent players and still on big wages too.

Assistant to Hodgeson maybe?, decent players such as Howard? Big wages being the maximum of 3k pw.SPARTA Appleton to Blackpool.

Jackson Corner Good news I just hope it is a nail in the Pompey coffin. One thing is bugging me. As it stands they are above the drop zone. Once they come out of administration they will incur a 10 point penalty. What happens if they get to the end of the season and then go in to administration? Will they be relegated or start the following season with a ten point penalty?

Assistant to Hodgson doesn't make you a successful manager. He's done absolutely nothing to warrant such a move. Interestingly it seems Blackpool fans largely agree and are less than satisfied. Kid in a sweetshop? Sure, and now an expectancy to get it right immediately with zero excuses to hide behind.

By law if they are still in admin after 12 months they will be liquidated so they can't get to the end of the season unless they come out by Feb.
