jumpers for goalposts What a truly horrific game of football that was

Get a girlfriend. Hopefully she'll stop you going.

Nice to see you engaging in rational deb8 as always Para.

Honestly, what is it with RTG's these days.. Opinions that differ to yours are permitted lads

Sorry m8. Not really registered you before. I was taking the piss - not trying to engage in rational deb8. Why would I want to do that? No one else is.

Ian Royal Agree on the second point about Ledge. As for the one about Fed, yes it did make it a long way up the pitch, but Norwich looked to me to bodies forward at least equal to ours back and room to run at our defence, something that gives me nightmares.

Perhaps think about changing your diet in the few hours prior to going to bed.

urz13 McCleary has to be one of the worst crossers in terms of wingers I've ever seen. Dreadful.

Yet you ignore Shorey and McAnuff?

@Ian Royal, The team today was no better, in fact probably worse, than last years normal starting eleven.

I'd take last seasons Pearce over what I've seen of Morrison so far and Cummings and Griffin over Gunter.

Shorey is an improvement over Harte I'd agree, but the midfield today weaker than last season.

We've made the massive jump up into the Premier League but haven't made any significant improvement in the team. Considering how we played last season, and it's limitation against teams that make less mistakes and don't give you the ball back so cheaply, I'd say there is weight to an argument that we didn't do enough to improve the quality of the starting eleven.

But that doesn't have a lot to do with our business over the summer. It's because of injury, form and McDermott's management choices in season.

And I said we didn't improve it enough. But it absolutely is better.

Do you mean Jobi McAnuff? Aka the fifth best assist maker in the PL.

It has everything to do with our business over the summer if the manager doesn't think the players he signed don't warrent a place in the team.

Guthrie, Pog and Gunter have all been dropped when fit and available and they were our big signings supposedly brought in to make our functional Championship side one to perform in the Premier League. None have been able to hold down a place in the team.

Hey, I'm just saying it's wrong to say our signings haven't improved us, how they're used has nothing to do with that.

Of course how they're used has something to do with it when the man using them is the man buying them. The point was whether we'd been professional enough with our transfers over the summer. If we've bought a load of players that we can't fit into the team to improve us, when we obviously needed improving, then I think there's some credit in that line of thought.
