Shame - my first choice would have been Dennis Wise, had McD gone :(

nott'm forest might have had something to say about that. he's only recently joined the club as first team coach, and will be favourite to replace steve cotterill when they finally wash their hands with him.

Elmer Park If Anton is making the decision the short list would be Guardiola, Advocaat and Hiddink. If Madejski is choosing the short list it would be Gibbs, Murty and Mark Bartley (manager of Reading Town)

Well apparently it is Advocaat

Has to be Mark McGhee.
Has unfinished business and the original magic hat.
I'd like The Rouge as assistant though, with Martin Allen as Kingsley.

or guardiola

AZ- think about it pep. what better way to cement your place as the worlds greatest manager than to take a tiny team of nobodies, and mould them into european champs. anyone could do it with barcelona.

I'd take either if they were available when we needed them.

It always puzzles me why Curbishley turns down work in the Championship. He's been interviewed for a few Prem jobs but has been dismissed each time, so why wait? What exactly is he waiting for? No top flight team will take him now; he's been out of the game too long.
