"In the off-season we were negotiating with players at the level of England internationals," Zingarevich said. "People like the club."

lightning strikes I've been going to castilla for the last couple of years and Denis is good but not obviously better than what we've got. Castilla play 4-3-3 and he always plays on wide on the left. Generally he is more often than not a substitute, although sometimes he's a bit unlucky to be sub as his form often warrants a place. He's okay on the ball and quite pacey, not really got a trick to beat a man but what he is really good at is getting on the end of crosses and moves to finish - sort of a poor man's Pedro at Barca.
Can't see as we need another winger, unless they are thinking he can play the Glyfi role in the centre. As i say he can finish and is good at arriving in the right place at the right time, so in a 5 man midfield it's a possibility but i've never seen him play in that position so can't comment on how he'd do.

Cheers, good info. How do you end up going to Castilla? Just for inexpensive decent-quality football, or some connection? I've always wondered if it's common to follow Getafe if not interested in the big two. Never considered the other options.

"Zingarevich also revealed two Russian teenagers were on trial at the club - 17-year-old forward Sergey Kundik and Nikita Khaykin, who came through Chelsea’s academy. Neither would require a work permit."
