Great support from Y25 - Keep it up!

by LoyalRoyalFan » 17 Nov 2012 21:59

Great to see Y25 in such great form today. The relaxed stewarding this season has allowed Y25 to stand unopposed, this is great to see. Great scenes as Y25 bounced to 'Bill Oddie' 8)

The club need to keep up the relaxed stewarding.

Those in Y25 need to keep up the atmosphere we witnessed today, it was fantastic.

Y25 and Y26, and the atmosphere was only decent in the second half, but yes it was superb for once, and lovely to ram it down Everton's cocky throats!

Aren't all teams support cocky and a little self effacing. After all we are the greatest club the world has ever seen.

Half the people in y25/26 annoy me just because of their random hate for any teams away fans.

Watched match choice last night on Sky & the Reading fans sounded great 2nd half. I do enjoy sitting in Y25.

So you have a random hate of your fellow team supporters? Weirdo.

Just spoken to the ticket office and be offered a few tickets underneath the scoreboard as really cannot bare to sit in the south stand? Havnt been to a home game yet this year and was wondering if this section was standing much this year or is it still just the back half of y25/26??

Not standing that much, but if you're in front of the scoreboard I can't see why the stewards would object.

I'm a STH right in from of the scoreboard, 2nd half they dont seem to care about standing, but first half they tell us to sit down as when we stand you can't see the score or the clock...they should put the score and clock at the top of the screen, but then that would be sensible so nahhhhhhhh

TBF even at one down, the support was good. They were even singing in lower y25 where I am normally the only one!

Don't the idiots who spend the game watching the away fans and giving them the oxf*rd sign instead of watching the football annoy you?

Too busy watching the football to be honest, but no, not me. I look at it as two teams vs each other, and two sets of fans trying to get one over the other, which at times can be equally as entertaining. Yes the kiddies get a bit carried away with it, egging people on for a imaginary meet after the game, but that's up to them. I'd take a tasty atmosphere over a quiet one every time.

It doesn't bother me as much as i made it sound over the internet, I just think watch the football or start chants instead of the skinny kids who give oxf*rd sign over the barrier. Believe me I love watching a bit of trouble at the football and i love the rivalry with the away fans (probs more than the football at times) but sticking two fingers up isn't really funny or can be classed as "trouble", unless you're massive, then it's cool.

As a ST holder in Y20 i've thought the atmosphere has been quite muted so far this season, for various obvious reasons.

For the Everton game I was sat in the South Stand (so my cousin could sit with me) and the noise coming from Y25 was great. I wondered at the time whether it was always that loud, and it just didn't carry to Y20, or whether it was better than usual on Saturday. Pleased to see that it was the latter, hopefully that will continue in future games!
