southbank1871 I just find it very odd that you can be so defensive about your beloved Liverpool, that you would bother making such an odd point. There's plenty of nice and shit areas that one could live in if playing for either Chelsea or Liverpool.

"On a scale of JonJo Shelvey to Jordan Henderson, how bad is Stewart Downing?"
"Who would win a foot race - Jamie Carragher or the erosion of the UK Coastline?"
"Steve, does JonJo Shelvey take up all the car park at Melwood when he arrives in his Space Ship?"

That was really my point to Kes-life and all things good do not revolve around London so why would it be such a surprise that the great Stevie G chose to remain in one of the better parts of the country?
Personally I would find the prospect of working again in the grimy city that is London one of the worst punishments inflicted on anybody-a place with no soul where nobody talks to each other.

Victor MeldrewVictor MeldrewIdeal Liverpool w/Rodgers are obvious relegation candidates, I hope he stays in the job until after the 2nd transfer window after Xmas closes. They'll be doomed, he'll sign a few more Borini style rubbish additions, and they'll go down. Hopefully they'll sell the ponytail bloke to some other club, and be stuck with that.

Ian Royal Seriously, showing Ideal to be a know nothing mental is absolutely zero achievement.
