John Madejski's Wallet WTF is it with the Black Lawyers spakkers ???

Now says its utterly racist for the Spurs fans to be calling themselves 'Yids'. In complete contravention with every Jewish spurs fan or Jewish WWII immigrant anyone has been able to interview. Also saying they will raise a prosecution with the police EVERY game the fans chant it from now on

Don't they actually have jobs to do?

There just aren't enough :| to describe them

The Police drop all investigations into the Chelsea/Clattenburg thing because nobody from Chelsea came forward to make a complaint to the Police so it was essentially a victimless 'crime'.

Is there a case for Herbert to face a charge of wasting Police time? He wasn't at the game and didn't watch it on TV (apparently) but just made his complaint off the back of Chelsea's statement about taking action with the FA and so with no evidence that a crime had been committed.

Surely he's not technically allowed to do that is he?

If its El hadj Diouf you are on about, he himself has been accused of making racist comments in the past

No, he was the person that confirmed there was no racial abuse.

Ah i see, Diouff was once accused by a ballboy at Everton of saying oxf*rd off white boy. Think he was playing for Blackburn at the time.

Has anyone managed to say what these 'key issues' are yet?

The FA's investigation found the following:

"The evidence for the allegation came from one witness, Ramires. Ramires, whose first language is not English, explained that his instinctive reaction was to seek confirmation from John Obi Mikel as to what the referee had said.

"John Obi Mikel, who was being spoken to by the referee, was much closer to the referee than Ramires and did not hear what it is suggested was said to him.

"Three other witnesses, i.e. the other Match Officials, to whom everything said by referee was relayed via their communication equipment, are adamant the alleged words were not uttered.

"There is nothing in the video footage to support the allegation.

"For completeness, but of lesser weight, two other players, whose first language is English and were in the vicinity, did not hear anything untoward."

Clattenburg is believed to be consulting lawyers over possible legal action

That's quite a kick in the teeth for Chelsea after all they've done to rid football of racism...

To be fair to Chelsea, if Mikel and Ramires were adamant that they wanted to make a complaint, they were pretty much duty bound to do so. Sounds like a massive fukk up though

Feel sympathy for Clattenburg that he has had to endure considerable ordeal after being accused of making racist remarks. But don't see that Chelsea should be vilified for making genuine complaint. FA investigated and found complaint was groundless.

Chelsea should be vilified for not controlling their players sufficiently that they go around making accusations those same players then can't back up.

By the FA's statement the club, with their players, really should've worked out what had gone on and realised that there wasn't anything inappropriate said.

Looks to me that they were just too caught up in feeling hard done by that they jumped on this in the heat of the moment without really doing their homework and have ended up with egg on their face.

Referee's Union say they want Chelsea to make a public unreserved apology to Clattenburg for their behaviour over this (making it public), want Clattenburg financially compensated by Chelsea and say they believe Chelsea should make a donation to an anti racism charity

So Chelsea should get compensation for JT being banned for 4 games. Oh yes.

So how much compensation are we looking at? Given that Clattenberg is only 37, thats potentially a long career to be tarnished, not to mention any future career prospects away from football that could be affected by the claims.

Do us all a favour Mr Clattenburg and take them to the cleaners.

And just lol at the FA saying the claims were made in good faith. As if the claims had been made if decisions and the result had gone their way. Still a gutless association and always will be.

I believe the correct legal term is "shitloads".

No coincidence that RDM sacked just in time to be made the scapegoat..........

Clattenburg's statement today:

"I am looking forward to putting this behind me and concentrating on refereeing in the Premier League and other competitions.

I am extremely grateful for the invaluable support of my family, my Select Group colleagues, the management of Professional Game Match Officials Limited and our union Prospect.

The messages of encouragement from those inside and outside of the game have helped me through the most stressful time of my professional life.

To know you were innocent of something but that there was the opportunity for it to wreck your career was truly frightening.

Racism has no place in football and this experience should not discourage those to speak out if they genuinely believe they are a victim of abuse.

However, there are processes that should be adhered in order that any investigation can be carried out in a manner that is fair for all parties involved.

I know first hand the ramifications of allegations of this nature being placed into the public domain ahead of a formal process and investigation. I hope no referee has to go through this in the future.

We are all fortunate to be working in the world's most-watched and scrutinised football league. With that comes a responsibility in regard to how the different parts of the game work together.

What has happened over the last few weeks should not overshadow the fact the on-pitch relationship between match officials, players and managers is the best we've ever known it.

We are proud of the integrity of refereeing in this country and I cannot wait to be back involved in the game I care so passionately about."

Shows more class and dignity in a few short sentences then Chelsea have shown in 10 Years.
