Ups and Downs
Extended-Phenotype
Ups and Downs It's down to his ongoing dispute contract dispute. 100%

If he moves does move on then I'll tell all.

Just tell all anyway.

Nah, I said that I wouldn't.

The players and the club read this forum so I'll not throw any spanners.

Fair enough. Do you think we will work it out, or is it looking like he's off in your opinion based on what you can't tell us?

A good example is Arsenal's first goal in the disastrous Capital One Cup defeat at home. Gorkss appeared to be caught napping and allowed himself to be beaten to what should have been a fairly straight forward clearance. Instead, Theo Walcott got to the ball and raced clear to score, providing Arsenal with the catalyst for their dramatic recovery.

I thought Gorkss did win the header, just that he planted it straight to an Arsenal player who was able to play a simple ball through for Walcott to score?

Well if that's true then he/his agent obviously wants an extortionate amount/deal. Didn't both Sidwell and Shorey run the clock down but both were still played?

New Club policy? But either way it seems to be cutting off their nose to spite their face.

Nope. We know our team is more than the sum of its parts, we dont have the best individuals. Not including players in the squad who are equivocal about playing for us is all about that team ethos.

Obviously the club don't think he is worth what he is asking for or it wouldn't be dragging out but I don't know if it's extortionate.

Frankly either a/ Pearce is a foolish young man who is willing to risk his career for a few extra sponduliks or b/ he knows that someone like Liverpool are going to buy him in January.

If a/ he really needs to get a grip as a young player should be taking every chance to progress and should want to play as much as possible. The money will take care of itself if he becomes an established PL player.

If b/ it is just a sad part of football I suppose. Hopefully we will get at least a million or so for him but this would not be much for a reigning POTS with loads of potential.

We are paying Alex Pearce wages so we should play him, our best defender on the bench when we are leaking goals! Even if he goes in January, he might help us pick up vital points in December could be the difference between staying up and relegation.
Come on BM & NH sort it out!
